They gave up Yunel Escobar and JoJo Reyes for Gonzalez and two minor leaguers. 

IMO it is a great trade.  I have never been a fan of Escobar.

yunel sucks but alex isnt gonna hit HR's like he has all season.

How bout Pujols taking home the Espy as Best Baseball player!!!

Alex's glove is better than Yunel's too.  As long as he can get some base knocks and make plays I will be happy.

How about the Reds being in first place in that division?  Who freaking saw that coming?  I think they choke down the stretch and the Cards win it.
